Complete the online form, including your contact information, as well as some general information about the vehicle. Check off as many details that apply, or use the additional boxes, if needed. Not sure about something? Don't worry. Our representatives will follow up, if needed, when they contact you.

Our process is simple, hassle-free and easy to follow. Just fill out our secure form, or let one of our friendly, experienced representatives walk you through the donation procedure. We'll handle everything, from pickup to processing. All we need are your car keys, title and access to your vehicle.

Pickup Schedule your free pickup

When you complete the initial donation process, we'll pick up your donated car. One of our professional towing companies will contact you to work out a convenient day and time, typically within 24 hours. There's no towing charge, nor do you need to wait for the driver. Just make sure you've removed the license plate and any personal items before your pickup day.

We accept all makes and models nationwide, so don't worry if your car's doesn't run, or isn't in top shape. We'll deal with those issues. Nor do we limit donations to vehicles. In most cases, we also accept boats, motorcycles, RVs, vans, and property. Our representatives will be happy to answer whatever questions you have about donating these items.

Deduction Receive your tax deduction

Upon pick-up, the towing company will leave you a tow receipt on our letter head showing that your donated car was picked up on behalf of Cars Helping Veterans. Once we are in possession of your donated car, title, and keys, we will mail or email your IRS tax-deductible receipt in approximately 10 business days.

Your contribution will make a real difference to our disabled, homeless, and wounded veterans where it matters most.
