Ohio has many things to offer, including multiple locations that we can pick up an unwanted vehicle. If you have a vehicle you would like to donate please fill out our donate form to begin. After you have initiated the donating process we can contact you through one of the towing companies we partner with and begin setting up an appropriate time to come and retrieve the vehicle. We can go anywhere in the area to collect a donated vehicle, free of charge. Once we receive your vehicle, we will email you your IRS tax-deductible receipt within 10 business days.
Cars Helping Veterans utilizes the vehicular donations to benefit the vast community of veterans throughout the country. They are not always given what they deserve, and we certainly cannot pay them back, but we want to give back piece by piece. Often, taking a vehicle to be sold or traded in can be a painful process. When we take your vehicle, we do it free of charge, and completely at your convenience. We don't want you to have to give up anything else, nor do we want you to be displeased with the times we select, so we ask that you tell us when you are available and we will make ourselves available.
The classic phrase of What comes around, goes around rings true here. Giving to benefit others, giving to bring light into someone's life, that deserves a reward. We work hard to give back to you for giving. We give you the most we can in a tax-deductible receipt roughly ten days after receiving the vehicle.
