Fort Sam Houston stands right inside the city, which also hosts two Air Force bases, and two U.S. Army military training camps. Yet many veterans struggle to lead satisfying lives, due to lack of affordable housing, decent medical care, and reliable transportation. It’s not hard to see why so many feel neglected and forgotten.

But we don’t think it has to be that way. Our organization, Cars Helping Veterans, is working to change local veterans’ lives, one donation at a time. All we need you to do is donate your old or unwanted car, whether it works, or doesn’t. We’ll arrange a free pickup, typically within one or two days after contacting us. All we need is your location, car keys, and title, and you’re good to go.
